This probably sounds like a dumb question but here goes anyway:
Do I have to include "Lawn Care" in my trade name registration. Thinking about naming it "Green Blades" but don't know if it has to be named "Green Blades Lawn Care." I would prefer to register it as "Green Blades" and add "Lawn Care" to it on my business cards and flyers. This is important to me because I may want to add "landscaping" to the business cards and flyers later in life. So in other words, would it be illegal to add "Landscaping" or "Lawn Care" to business cards or flyers without it being on the official trade name registration in the first place? Thank you in advance!!

No problem. It is though in your best interest to register and LLC under the same name that you will be branding for extended marketing purposes.

Name it whatever you want, the services you offer can change anytime you want but keep in mind different insurances/guidelines are required for the different services you provide. At-least in FL, I suspect most other states have similar guidelines put in place as well.

My business is LANDMARK LAWNS LLC. then I put a description after. Ie: "Green Blades" then below put lawn care. Doesn't necessarily have to be part of the company name
