Can anyone identify this grass or weed in my Bermuda

    I have this grass or weed growing all over my Bermuda lawn and was wondering if you guys could help me identify it and tell me how to get rid of it.My Bermuda lawn is just starting to come out of dormancy and this weed/grass is driving me crazy.If it helps any I live just north of San Antonio,Texas.Thanks.

    Hard to tell for sure but looks a lot like dallisgrass. Seed heads would be a dead giveaway. If I'm right, the only thing I know of that will kill it is glyphosate. Could have sprayed it with dormant bermuda but now that it's coming out that's a no go.

    I haven’t seen any seed heads.Any chance that it can be Annual Ryegrass? Also I forgot to mention that the top grass is different from the bottom two.

    Italian ryegrass (annual ryegrass)

    You'll need a sulfonylurea like Katana, Monument, Revolver, etc... MSM might work

    It is a grassy weed that can be knocked out with round-up but must go light since bermuda coming out. It is a variety of barnyard grass. Only way to prevent it is heavy pre-m in winter. We chemically attack it inJanuary when it comes up here in austin.

    Ed I disagree that is not Barnyard grass. Barnyard grass has a purplish center.

    Looks like what I have.Its growing all over my lawn.How do I apply it without killing the Bermuda?
