fl-landscapes I agree with your statement. No disrespect to you but, most all have been discussed. Except once all the questions have been asked and answered then there is no use for this forum to exist. I like to click on daily and check it out, if all the reply was to each question "DO A SEARCH" then we would all just quit using this forum. I personally do a search before asking any question, and most of the time I find my answer.

I love the site too. And check new posts daily. Theres different stuff that gets posted that can't be found in a search like "funny thing happened today" or "pics of a project" "what are your toys" "check out my new rig"....ect....ect...ect... as well as many questions that haven't been answered in the past specific enough to help someone out. But people think someone like ric is a dic for saying to use the search or read the label and I hate to say I do agree with ric usually on this subject. Sometimes I log on and all I do is search and pour over hundreds of posts. There is so much imformation buried in this site it is invaluable.

Walk a mile in my shoes before you call me a name. Over the last 8 years I have posted as much if not more technical information than any other member on Lawnsite. I get tired of trying to make the point that the Label is the law and the first place you should look for information in a nice way. Some fools need to be hit over the head to drive home that point. At least those reading here will think twice before asking questions that they can find the answer themselves. I am not saying a question about sometime not covered by the label isn't a reasonable question.

Let me put this Hate Ric thread to bed by saying I will reframe (Never say Never) from posting any information on lawnsite. You guys have successfully run me off of posting on Lawnsite. BTW It so happens my PM box is one more time full with over 701 PM asking for information. I have deleted my PM box many times over the years but I will not delete it again or at least not for the time being. Therefore I will not be available. Regarding Ric, I for one will miss his knowledge but I do assert the vitriolic comments aimed at Ric were out of line.
A very poignant aspect to Ric's original response is a considerable lack of knowledge associated with an individual lack of research but posters with elementary questions resulting in pesticide misapplications with the resulting harm to our industry.
This trend has been increasing and while I recognize legitimate questions may exist, this is not the forum to have others provide data or interpret label information in lieu of a minimal level of comprehension that must exist as a base level prior to the question or application.

I can see your point tx hope you see mine. Would be like coming into one of the forums I "live" on asking for computer help and getting the same response. I'm an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) on Win 2000 so I build networks.

When I got the idea to redo the lawn I thought, how hard could it be, throw down some seed and water

AND THE FIRST TIME I SEEDED WAS MID JULY, 95 DEGREES, NO RAIN AND THOUGHT THAT WAS PERFECT TIME :laugh:

So I've come a long way by myself, heck I didn't even know there was such a thing as herbicides till last year. I thought, till up the weeds, kills everything and smooth it out and replant :drinkup:

I hope your getting a good laugh because this is actually a first that I'm looking back and seeing what I did then and how far I've come and how much I've learned here so its you guys that helped me and when I seen how Ric came off at blake in the second post I also was thinking blake was a newbie as of last year (think I read sine that he was licences though) so I know how I would have felt had I been him.

I've come a long way and its you, YOU the averall forum that has got me where I am today and without you guys I would have done said the hell with it and gave up. So Thank You to all who have replied to my (some pretty stupid) threads and helped me along the way.

If the Fools would read all of the label and have the ability to under stand those Labels, They wouldn't have to ask a question every Certified Pesticide Operator should know or know how to find the answer. Sorry I am not a Democrat who believes I should share my hard earned money or Knowledge with those who are too lazy to work for their own.
