If I had a 5hp walk behind blower, could I use it as a truck loader? Just have to make a custom mounting plate.

I wouldn't see it as being powerfull enough. And the impellers on those aren't designed to handle being bombarded with all that stuff. Will ruin it, just my .02

I can't imagine 5 hp is enough power.

Personally I wouldn't do it. You'll probably be getting nothing but problems or disapointment with it.

I am sure that I saw a blower configuration that work as both vacuum and blower in a trade magazine. I just cannot recall where. Use the search function and you should come across a thread I posted in about the same subject and others did respond. If you find the answer, please repost. Thx.

A buddy of mine is using his 7 hp, cyclone rake, as his truck loader. Sunding out 2100 CFM, he says it will out suck many of the bigger machines. But yeah 5 hp is probably to little. Oh well.
