    1 push mower
    1 weed whacker
    1 blower
    1 truck
a community of houses ranging anywhere from 100k to 400k

Have a night job all ready.

What do you guys think can i get into the biz somewhat this year and fully kick into high gear next season?

If you bust your ass there is no reason you can't earn enough for a good rider or high end walk behind, while building a name for yourself. Just make sure your work stands out over the next guy's.

Why not? Maybe look for a 36" w/b and target houses under 1/4 acre. The positive thing about this setup is that you'll have virtually no overhead. Thats pretty much how I started and it allowed me to turn a decent profit and not be up to my eyeballs in debt.

You could probably do it, however, you might consider getting a used 36' WB !!

yes you can do it you'll probally find that old guy who had his lawn torn up by somebody who didn't operate their mower right and he'll perfer you use the small mower I had a couple like that when i started. i'm pretty sure almost everybody on this site started with the same or less i had the same but no blower i bought a 24in push broom at home depot then bought a refurbished hand craftsman blower . so yeah do it man and i tell you i wish i found this site when i started it would have saved me lots of money on equipment choices

It most certainly can be done. The question is, "Can you do it?"
