Can mower clutch wire be fixed?

i got my walkbehind's clutch off... pita but did it.

I knew the wire to the clutch got ripped off by something that went up under the mower last week, but after taking it off, one of the wires that enters the top of the clutch housing is sheered straight off. There is NO exposed wire to re-connect the clutch wire to.

Can the top of the Ogura clutch housing be removed so i can access the wire portion INSIDE the clutch or is it toast?

I don't know the configuration of the wiring going into an Ogura clutch. On a Warner the wiring is embedded in an epoxy bed as I recall and never really tried to make the repair. Any time I replace a clutch, I apply a silicone mound around the wires as they exit the clutch and install insulated male and female connectors so that if they are caught by something the wires will come apart at the connector rather than breaking off as they exit the clutch housing.

This may be overkill but it has worked for my customers.
