Old guy cold calls me for a quote on trimming. 5 hours, half day, no problem. Wants it done by July 4. It's the first week of june. I tell him if the weather isn't too bad and all goes well I can squeeze it in. I get the job. A week goes by. He calls. " It's been 2 weeks and you haven't shown up yet. please call". So I call and explain that it's only been 1 week and I'm on schedule. He's pressing me for a definite answer if I can show up in time. I tell him I can't control the weather and I have regular customers to worry about. He tells me he'll find someone else. Without missing a breath, OK Bye!

No problem. He didn't just need someone to do it. He needed someone to commit and get it done quick. You couldn't because you're very busy. That's not a bad thing. :)

Yes this is correct, you may squeeze some one in during the week but one of your regs may miss out later in the week :hammerhead:

The worst are neighbours can you do this and that while you are here.
