Can you till in Fescue instead of raking it? I've got to do some heavy amendment to soil, and would love to do all the tilling at once, and till in the seed instead of tilling, seeding, then raking the seed. Thanks. Also, its a 20% rye, will this come up?

I think you would get the seed buried way too deep if you did that. Most grass seed is planted practically on top of the loose soil. Don't they recomend you just lightly rake it to get the seed under by 1/4 to at most 1/2 inch ?
