I have a 14 kawi on a lesco 36 that leaks at the carb seal for the fuel bowl. I have replaced the seal which is next to impossible to get to seat properly. It is a square faced o ring seal and is thin in diameter. The seal is for the fuel bowl. I am shutting fuel off because it will bleed out the whole gas tank over night

Your problem is the float needle valve not seating, Replace that and you should be good to go....

Also check your oil for fuel, Most will seep fuel past the rings into the crankcase.
