I have a client who has carpetgrass as his turf(large property in country). I’m having hard time finding it on labels of herbicides.

Can I assume 3way, simazine are safe? Msm at low rates?

Pre - I saw no damage with prodiamine but what about specticle?

I ran a centipede program on it but then the celcius spot spray took some spots out even at low rates.

Low rates of straight 2,4-D Amine. Sedgehammer. Prodiamine. No Specticle, Simazine, Celsius, Revolver, Monument, Dismiss, MSM. No Pylex or Tenacity either. No Sethoxydim. The list of herbicides not to use are based on what I apply when Carpetgrass is a weed in Bermuda Centipede, or Zoysia turf.

Thanks. I had to sit down and look at the labels and work backwards since carpet is not a really desirable turf.

Yes, sulfentrazone, also you can use dismiss nxt, which has carfentrazone.

Another One of my go to’s for carpet grass is change up herbicide.

I’ve made 20k square feet of carpetgrass look bad by .25 oz / A MSM. It recovered though.
