Just wondering what you guys use to block the blades from spinning when taking off and putting on new blades. Is there a trick
    I don't know about?

I just hold the blade with a gloved hand

I ended up using a block of wood. The lady had those blades so sharp I was afraid to touch them. Would have used an air wrench buy my commpressor died

Use an air gun and you don't have to touch the blades. It is also a much quicker job with an air gun.
