I have a Kohler M18S engine and was wandering how you up the rpm's from 3300 to 3600?
You shouldnt, the mag 18 is a side valve engine, and it doesnt like to rev that high,it will get real hot,and not make much more power.I can guarantee you the life will be reduced. If you had the command OHV you can spin those to 3750 easy, but with a Mag id leave it alone.
Guess I'll leave it alone then. The book says it should be running at 3600 rpm's,why is that the stats on that engine then?
