Charging Customers For Writing Checks!!!!!

    Someone here in town said they charge there customers 35-45 fee for writing check versus giving cash and they s have been doing it for years. What is your input on that? All suggestions are welcome:weightlifter:

    Sounds to me more like working for cash versus having to claim it as taxable income.

    Are you sure the fee wasen't for a Bad Check?

    No they said that they did because they wanted to cut the bad checks down and the time to go to the bank they give invoices they just didn't want any loses! :weightlifter:

    Speaking of checks, one of my customers wrote a check and post dated it for a month from now. She's old and made a mistake, no big deal. I changed the date and deposited it.

    To charge that much more to write a check though is crazy.

    They file their taxes with all accounts but here in Memphis there are some residential/commercial clients that want service but don't want to pay (Bad Checks) or take a month to pay! :cool2:

    So he keeps a room full of Cash. I'm sure he goes to the bank.....Can you imagine telling someone $35 per cut if paying by check it will be $70.....:nono:
