I don't want to lowball myself. This hedge is about 83 feet long and about 6 feet wide. How much would you guys charge a good client for a job like this? This is the after.

How long were you there start to finish?
Other things were taken care of also, but I had a younger guy on this. He cut the hedge in about 30-40 mins. Then I'd say we spent about 20 mins cleaning that up, along with leaves under and around the hedge.

lol I was going to say a full day.

I just did a job with 2 x 60 foot hedges but 10 feet tall and each one took almost a whole day

I guess no ladder helps alot

probably charge 400 and call it a half day

So you had a man hour on it roughly? That’s quick as heck but more power to you. I’d say $100 to $120.
I guess it just needed a quick trim...

I got a picture here, one on left took 8 hours

One at far back middle also leylandii took 2 hours

one on right took 1.5 hours only top and 1 side, everything in picture was $1000 CAD

So if you had another worker with you you'd do this for $120?

If it took two workers that long to do that I’d be $200 to $250.
I don't want to charge less because my worker works fast. He is paid salary, so when we're done, he's done.

Just for Jits and shiggles let’s say you had a machine that could do that job in 1 minute. What would you charge? I would still charge $200. It’s you that has the “machine” that can do the job not the homeowner.

Was your man experienced? Skilled labor--costs more.
Special tools? Hedge trimmers? Special tools most companies do not have--neither does the customer. Costs more.
I was just curious to how much you all would charge. No special tools used, but a lot of back bending and labor. Gas handheld hedge trimmer, no extension.
