Hey Everyone, new landscape company owner here. Going into fall, in the northeast leafs are already starting to fall and I am curious to see how everyone charges for leaf cleanup during the mowing season, if it all. Im talking leafs that are starting to cover the lawn, not a complete fall clean up.

Our leaf clean ups start at $200.00 and can go up to $2,000.00 based on the size of the property, amount of leaves, etc.

As for small amount of leaves that get sucked up or destroyed by the mower during a weekly service, we leave it at no additional charge.

If it's something that's a little more significant but won't require an actual clean up. You can add $10.00-$30.00 on the price for a week by week basis and amount of extra time you use to clean it up.

We are from New York, Long Island by the way. For relevance.

We mow through October, irrigation is shut off weeks before though. Oftentimes we are just mowing leaves for the last 2-3 visits.

We don't put in any extra effort so we don't charge extra. Guy who would normally grab a trimmer might grab a blower instead and try to get more leaves onto the lawn, that's about the only change in procedure.

These clients will all be getting a full cleanup or two in Nov-Dec so it's making that more efficient too.
