Is this too much for rock? Say limestone.

$5k total for 30 cubic yards, plus removal and disposal of mulch.

I don't think so I would charge more than that say for example. Haydite is 72.00 a cubic yard here. so 30 x 72.00 is 2160.00 then delivery fee probally 200.00 so now your at 2360.00 now you are almost half way to your 5000 dollar mark and you haven't made a dime yet. If I was doing that job 30 yards of mulch removed and disposed of. New weed fabric installed and 30 yards of Haydite at 72.00 a yard installed I would charge about 7100 dollars or I would not touch it.

all depends on how spread out they want it.

Around here limestone 2" clean is about $14/yd at 30 yds delivered. So if you are putting it on a driveway, you are too high, but if you are spreading it out in beds, with fabric under, edging and what not, then you might be right on, or even under bid, depends too much on the project. Sorry I cant be more help.
