I have a flyer delivery company do it for .08 cents a piece. 10,000 going out in the next month and a half. How much is you time worth, you can't pay me 8 cent a piece to do it. This usually works out pretty well for me.
Colorado Mowerboy, How did you find the company that distributes your flyer? I'm trying to think of what they would be listed under in the phone book.
we have had good luck with the newspaper. we do it every year. the key is to do it in your target areas each year. this will help to keep route tight.
as for newapaper ad. we keep our weekly ad year round. always start it with an "A" keeps it on top of column.
we are doing a special ad in the main boby of paper this year with coupons for new customers. hope this helps.
the more you get your name out in the area you want to service the better. people start to know your name and you gain legitamence.
biglou, Our paper places ads on a first come first serve bases. lux lawn, keep that in mind if you decide to place an add.
The 10000 fliers that are going in the newspaper are going to be in areas where we are already working and we are known.Everything being sent out this year is within 5-7 miles of my house.I am going to put 3 coupons on them for the upcoming season and I have always gotten a good response from the fliers with coupons.As far as the first come first serve thats the only thing that concerns me.I talked to the lady at the newspaper again and told her that and as of now I think I am the only one on the day I picked.
