Well, I'm not really a big fan of them.
I think that you can do just as well with a simple black & white flier. I use bright green paper and black ink on my fliers and I get phone calls from mine. Ultimately though, just getting your name out there and letting people know that you are available to cut is the most important. If you want a more in-depth critique I'm sure you will get some.
