Tossing around another idea. Being I will have a CTL w / cab on this job along with my tractor. Thinking of renting a brush mower for the bobcat, that way we can run two machines cutting, tractor can knockout the 2-3 acres of open area while I tackle the thicker stuff w/ bobcat.

If I go that route, prolly won't even need my buddy to run over it with the mulcher after. More money in my pocket.

Try to get lots of different angles on the before and after pics. Most times pictures just can not describe what was actually cleared.

Take the pics from as high up as you can too, like from the skid bucket. Whats the mower rent for?

There is actually a billboard on part of the property I was going to climb up the ladder some to a few aerial shots.

The brushcat rents for $97/day or $250/ week. I'm doing a week rental. So we can take our time and leave a nice finished product.

We are forecasted for some heavy rain 2morrow. I may hold off and start the job Monday.

Is it an actual brush cat? They are good mowers.

That's a much better plan to be honest

Last time I saw the news it was at 100% change of rain for Tuesday an 50% change for Wednesday. This rain sucks!!!

If it is a bobcat brushcat you will not be able to pick it up off the ground with the blades engaged. I had problem with saplings getting caught in the blades. From pushing them over then running through it. I bought a extreme brush cutter, like what dirt man has. It dose a better job then the brushcat

You can take the lever off that keeps you from raising it off the ground.. Just a couple bolts!

I won't know which brush mower it is untill I go pick it up on Monday. It's from United Rentals, they couldn't give me an exact model, guy said they have about 3x different brand cutters.

Looks like waiting untill Monday will be the plan, it's been storming here since about 2am and 100% forecast for the rest of the day.
