I was going to have some postcards printed out with full color both sides, and glossy, but I've seen a few crews already starting spring clean up's so I decided to act fast.

The only local print shop open tommorow is staples, and they charge about $1 per postcard.... Yeah Right!

So I'm going to print them B&W at home on a laser printer w/ bright yellow paper.

So here's the design, what's the good and the bad.

Thanks so much and God Bless!

I agree - serving your neighborhood for 5 years - leave out teenage part..
Also, take out word Practically any - should just say small landscape installs or something along those lines

Thanks sooo much guys for the help. Sorry about all the spelling mistakes, I've found a few others since then (I'm using photo shop and it doesn't have spell check)

The reason for "ambititious teenager... in your neighborhood" is to set me apart from the competition. My neighborhood has a lot of older people and I believe that they would much rather see a hard working (local) teenager servicing their yard than some guy that can't speak English (no offense to any Hispanic landscapers).

Maybe I could try "A hard working honor student living in your neighborhood...."

I'll post up a new and updated design in a little while, Again guys thanks, and God Bless you all.

I like it. For the time being. Obviously you will get older but a lot of people will respond positively to that and maybe you can restore their faith in teenagers in general at the same time because you seem like a good kid.

Here's the updated version....

What do you think of....

The new picture in front
The "Our Company Section"
Especially the "honor student..."
The grey lettering in "Services"
New layout and separation line on the back

Thanks guys, you've been a great help, God Bless!

Thanks guys, so here's my printing story...

This morning I went to staples and they said that it would cost about $8 for printing 50 copies, or 100 flyers b&w on yellow cardstock. I was going to buy just the paper, but they said they would print it for the same prices so I went home to get everything ready. That afternoon I got everything saved on a usb zip drive (flash drive, thumb drive, etc.) and went to staples, they fiddled with the printing setup, and printed of 3 copies until it was just right. About 20 min later once it had all printed they asked if I wanted them to cut the sheets in half for me since I was there anyway, I said sure and they spent about 3 min. doing that. So they put it in the bag and I get the bill. About $25 for 100 postcards, wow. I was expecting maybe around $15 since it was front and back, but then they added another $8 for cutting the sheets in half. All they had to do was make three stacks of paper, align them each in the machine and press a button and it was done, but I learned my lesson....

Be prepared early so you don't have to rush, and try to use a local print shop instead of staples or a large chain.

Thanks again guys and God Bless you all!

$25 for 100. thats $25 at 100 chances for business. you could win them all or win none. odds and money wise are in your favor id say.
