Just came back form a bid opening of a large hospital with 4 satelite complexes. My bid was 119,994.00 Heres the rest of the bids. 161,865.00, 93.560.57, 91,700.00, 71,570.00, 34.300.00 and the lowballer 20,640.00. Don't you just love these guys.

you know if these bids were posted prior and given a second chance to bid you have 100 bids of 20,639.
I cant stand those that lower the value of our industries work.

Why and how did they let you see the other bids?

It was open bid everyone who bid could come to the bid opening.

If they can do it for 20 k let them. But I would be willing to bet that they have no clue about what they are doing. They wont keep the job for long.

Lots of times they'll let you see the past years bids if you ask them.

I was at a bid opening where my bid fell in the middle. It was for mowing 28 parks for a park district. High bid 135,000. Low bid
33,000. Some guys are just willing to work for nothing.
