checkerboard lawns

    any one ever made a checkerboard pattern on a lawn, if so how did you do it and was it cut at 2 different heights, and do you skip a row in between so that the pattern is square , any ideas would be great thanks

    Just mow north to south and then east to west. I have several properties that I can see the lines from 2-3 weeks ago. That makes for a "plaid" look.:laugh:

    Don't skip any lines or vary your heights.
