I am looking into purchasing a 2004 or 2005 Chevy C4500 w/Diesel engine. Is this a good investment? Any info on this truck would be helpful.

We have a 4500 Duramax/Allison and an F-450 with a 444 cubic inch powerstroke. Both trucks are the same, the 4500 turns tighter and has more power I think.

Both trucks have roll off dumps with 14 foot bodies. Given the choice, I would get the 4500 over the F-450 all over again, but, both trucks will do about the same work. It almost depends on weather you like Ford or Chevy better.
