I have a customer that wants me to spray his Purple Plum trees with something before the Cicadas hit. WHAT do I use? ;)

I would try to educate him.

Cicada do not eat anything as adults. Spraying would be ineffective since they do not eat and they are extremely mobile. The only damge they do is occasionally laying their eggs in young trees will do slight damge. (In my experience.)

I'm an amature naturalist. Have facts on almost every living thing on the east coast and lots on North America. Hamons is right on.
