Anyone care to share what they feel is the best way to clean out the cracks prior to filling them with hot tar crack filler. Right now I'm using an edger with a wire wheel on it but I don't thing my edger is strong enough for the wire wheel.

For something other than heat lance any edger that has a horizontal shaft for the belt can be fitted with an 8" braided wire wheel. You can spend $700 on a grazor or $400 on a husqvarna that will do the job

I spent the extra money on the Grazor because it has a swivel wheel in front and most importantly the proper air filter to deal with the dust.
