Just wondering how often everyone cleans, not services, their handheld and small equipment.

    I personally try every 1 - 2 weeks.

I clean them from top to bottom at the end of the season.

My shins get cleaned when they get caught in the rain.

Then usually each winter. I crank em up, spray em with carb cleaner, or gunk, and hose em down.

Couple times per year mostly. They are pretty low maintenace for the most part.

I always clean up the carb and air filter on them. As far as buffing up the trimmer like I do to the mowers, once in a blue moon

On rainy days, if there is nothing else to do and we are caught up with all the other maintenance.

Same here, not too much to clean on them.

Once a year I give them a shot of grease, down by the end of the shaft
