Did a cleanup for a friend of mine this week. He moved into the house in 2007 and had NEVER touched the shrubs or the beds. Got a buddy of mine to help me out with it. 2 hours each of trimming and 3 more hours of cleanup and laying 4 yards of pine bark nuggets, here's the results. By the way, the customer is a popular local media personality. He gave me and my website a shout out on his highly rated radio show this morning!

It is all a matter of taste of course, but trimming up the previous design, would have complimented the house more... Bringing everything to ground level is not appealing to many people... that is why "Design" is best cleared with the H.O... :)

I've got a customer that about like that, although I might argue it could be worse. I'm DREADING it. But if I can get it to look half that good, I think the owner and myself would be very happy.

    Excellent work.

Can you share what you charged? It sounds like with the publicity you received and the "friend" status, you might not want to share. Curiosity killed the cat though, so I have to ask.
