What are your going rates? Someone was telling me your average neighbor hood lawn is about 40 a cut. And if i had a commercial account would i charge more just because its a business? And also im very crafty and fast with the string trimmer and edge all beds and cement every week, should i charge more? Thank you

cut, edge, and blow, for a basic size yard $25 to 30 I charge an extra fee. As well as bagging the gbucks. If they want weeds pulled out of there bedsrass clippings. Some people on this site may say thats to cheap, but look where there locacation is It varys in price. Those size lawns take an hour or less for me. maybe 5.00 in fuel charge at most. so $20.00 to $25.00 an hr is good for me.Strongsville is a good area you should eaisly get $30.00 or more. commersial accounts are different. The liablity insurance you need is 1 million, and that can get to be expencive. you should be able to charge $40.00 to $60.00 a man hour. $40.00 an hr is a little low but if its easy and quik and if ya need the bussiness ya do it. I'm in the Mentor area east of ya so if any thing going on drop a line

I would have to say the Info given so far in this thread is questionable at best. you start with a min of say 35 dollars and go up from there. Commercial accounts rnt the only thing you need insurance for. To really call your self a company you should carry at least a millon of liabillity. Pella windows add up quick 800 a pop fornot so large ones. also comm auto insurance. commercial tags for the trucks or whatever you choose to drive. Cut edge trim and go is a flat fee bagging is more any other service work is done at a diffrent time. may spray some round up or something. Any other service can range. You bill by man hr if its just cutting bush or what not other jobs dont worry about breaking it down to a customer just give them a final. You do have to know all of your cost of doing buissiness befor youll ever make anything. o and dont forget tax time
