While Russ (Hank) is manning the defences, I'm overseeing a new construction site for him. I've been down there before..it's one of our old
jobs & has changed hands. I met with the clients on Saturday, gave a brief
"from the hip" idea of what was needed. At the end of the meeting, I figured,
it's about that time where the age old "how much" comment will occur.
He looked at me and said, " do whatever you think is right". Period.:headphones:

I have a few customers like that. Good to have. They appreciate the work we do and price is secondary.

We had one years ago..."My daughter is getting married here, there's no
irrigation along the drive leading to the wedding site..I want it green!".
I told him we were slammed..I could NOT get there in time. He looked at
me and said, "did I ask you how much it will cost?". Yup, started his job the
    next day!:waving:

My favorite line is. "Peter! Just do your thing and send me the bill."

I love customers like that. There was a property manager I use to deal with who would answer the phone "Why are you calling me just fix it" He was great to work with.

"Just get it fixed and send me the bill." Work for a realtor sometimes and thats usually the way it goes.
