Client's Pruning Piles

    Do you all charge extra to pick up the piles left by the client prior to you getting there? I'm getting piles of clippings and debris from work left by the client.

    It depends.

    If it can be mowed up that's what happens. If it's a large pile of sticks and crap I go around. Unless they pay for me to pick up trash and debris I'm not picking it up.

    I had a customer that was awful about doing that. Finally took the attitude that it was that many fewer things I had to prune so just charged for the time and got on with life.
