Hello gentlemen and ladies. My son will be moving to the Badlands area this spring. He is in the process of buying a home and the backyard needs some attention. I’m am not familiar with the growing season nor any native grass in your area and was wondering is I could get some pointers as when he should apply his first pre-emergent? The backyard looks like a newer deck was installed but the yard was never repaired after. Anyway he should be in his new home by the middle of April and I will be going there in early July. It would be great to meet someone out that way to get some good advice for a new homeowner.
