Just wondering what everyones experiences are on bid results. Do companies let you know how much you won/lost by? Do they tell you that you were to high/low? Or do they just send you a letter stating you lost the bid and that's it?

It usually varies. Most will tell you you win or lost, some day you were too high kr too low, and others just make you jump throuh hoops to bid then never call back

My experience has been that you never hear back. If you contact them to find out, they just say 'we chose someone else. '

yup. Whenever we bid, and dont get it we ask if we are too high, and they will usually say, yeah you were to high or you were in the middle out of 5 or something. Then when we bid it next year we can tighten up the belt a little.
