Does anyone know where you can find open bids in Tn?

I assume your way ahead of Minnesota. Just going to mow the third time this week. I do mostly all commercial, and you have to get them in the winter here. Most bidding is done by mid march. A good place to check is call all the schools and city parks departments. Depends on how far you are willing to drive, but I called everyone from within 45 miles. However these government type bids which here are required to post in the at least one paper, always take the lowest bid, and they do go LOW. Thing to realize is that most schools have huge lots of flat grass. Mows a lot faster than a lot of others. I also stop by any new town homes and apartments, and pass out my business cards and I have actually giving them a bid right on the spot. You really have to get out there and market yourself.
