Who makes a good power washer these days? My father and grandfather used to own a pressure washing and painting business when I was a kid and they made decent money at it. I'm looking into offering it to my lawn maintenance clients as a service in the winter and spring when things are slow. I want to buy a good commercial washer for cleaning houses and driveways mostly, omething around 3000 psi and 3 or more gpm.

Edit: Price is not a factor

To my knowledge, this is the best deal out there. We have two so far, and will be buying a third very soon. http://pressuretek.com/bedr8gpm35ps.htmlhttp://pressuretek.com/bedr8gpm35ps.html

Honda V-twin powered, with a General (?) pump. With the high flow, these machines are extremely fast. $3100, delivered. A buffer tank is required for commercial machines like these.

We use the skid units (versus wheeled units) and have them mounted in our trucks. Once you try one of these, you'll NEVER go back to the direct drive junk in the 2.3-4 gallon/minute range.

Thanks! Those look like really nice units. What is the buffer tank for?

Spigot can't keep up with gpm.

Most houses only put out 4-5

Ok that's what I was thinking. I can't imagine how fast an 8 gpm setup will clean. I think my dads is 4 gpm and 3500 psi and it cleans fast.
