Hi Guys- I have a contract mowing the lawn of a local commercial building. They have asked me to quote them on fixing up their walkway. It is currently made of crushed stone (3/8 inch?) with a partial paver border which needs to be continued the rest of the way (190 feet). Also, he wants a more wheelchair accessible path. I think he is speaking stone dust? Please see picture below, what he has in mind: 1) Is this stonedust? 2) Is the chargerate for commercial generally higher or lower than residential? 3) Do I need to remove the existing stone, or just put on top of it? 4) how thick should I put it down? 5) should I compact it? (existing base/and, or new stone) 6) what about installing the pavers- should I just rent a trencher and place them in the ground or do I need to secure them some how? 7) General idea of what the price range should be? More photos, these are of the actual job: I know I need to put down 190 feet of pavers (960 bricks @ $.61/ea= $585) I also know the total area is 2000 square feet and stone dust is $27.75/yard Thank you for all your help!
