Hi guys seeking out a little advice on a heavy duty cleanup I’m doing next week. I’m handy with a saw but just haven’t had to tackle anything like this before. Biggest timber I’ve handled was about in the 6-8 inche range. A few of these trees are under extreme tension. Mainly the smaller ones. But some of the others are also. I’m stop yapping and starting listening. How would you guys tackle these guys.

I’ve been on YouTube heavily he last two days or so I’m not a noob but just want to be safe. This is in a area that I have bad to no cell reception. So that ups the ante on safety.

What's the end goal? Firewood? Clearing a trail?

Just take it slow. Watch your cut. If a tree is being supported on both ends, and your top cutting it, it will bind.
Do multiple top cuts about 1/3rd the way thru. Then put bar under tree and bottom cut it. The cut will open up and not bind on bar.
Just go slow and relieve pressure on felled tree's. Once on ground block it up.
Also a cant hook is very handy for rolling logs/tree's.
If your concerned about saftey, bring a friend, or helper. Play it safe.

Believe it or not that’s a drive way to a house. So it’s needing to be cleared to get to the property. That I’m going to have to mow.
