Does anyone lease their computer? Do you think it is/was a good or bad idea?

What are the advantages or disadvantages of leasing?

I can't speak for current conditions, but the only reason you would want to lease a computer is if you NEEDED to have the most advance computer such as graphics people ect.. With a dollar buyout option, you would be paying more than 11 to 16% higher interest charges than just putting the computer purchase on a credit card.

My second point, if you're trying to get the hottest computer around for a cheap price, you'll be buying a comptuer every other day. That's how fast a computer becomes obselte.

If you want to get a computer for business, try to get something that would run all your software for at least the next 2 years.

    just my .02.
