We use Quicken (Business edition). Takes care of finances and invoicing. We use an old version of Q & A Database for our scheduling, addresses and other customer information. Quicken has nice cross referencing and a good checks and balances PLUS it is user friendly!!!

    my 2 cents worth! :)

CLIP Sensible Software. They are the considered industry front runners when it comes to billing, scheduling, routing, job costing, etc... Check them out at www.clip.com or call them toll free at 800-635-8485.

If you need a great basic accounting program that can be easily customized to your specific operation then I reccomend "Medlin Accounts Receivable and Invoices" I've been using it since I started and have tried all the others including Clip, Quicken, Lawn Monkey, etc. and reccomend it hands down over the rest. First, it's cheap, only $35 for the Accts Rec module which with only 60 accounts is all you need. Second, it's easy to learn and doesn't take up much space on your computer. Last, they have great support either through e-mail or phone. What few questions I've ever had have been answered by e-mail within the same day I asked. You can download a free trial at: http://www.medlin.com/download.htm

You have touted Medlin before so when I needed a payroll package I gave them a try. Really is first class! I use One Write Plus for the rest of my accounting. Find it to be satisfactory for what I need.

I use a program called "My Deluxe Invoices & Estimates" by the "My Software Company". Very easy to use. Costs only about $40. If I plug in the info daily, it tells me how much $ will be coming in to date. Does reports for each customer by the month, quarter or year. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
