I am interested in getting a Concrete & Mortar Mixer. I am hearing from various vendors that you can't really use one machine from both - is this true?? Do you have any machines that you use for both, that may say it is for one or the other only but you have found works for both?? Any brand recomendations? I am looknig for something to mix between 4-5 (80 lbs bags). I would like a portable one not one that you must tow.

    Thanks for any input...

A mortar mixer is just for mortar. A concrete mixer is for concrete and will mix mortar but not good.

It's junk. Barrel mixers are lousy for making mortar.
