    Tennessee is a great place... I can’t say I’ve been there, maybe drove though decades ago.

    I have nothing bad to say about Tennessee or its inhabitants, for the record.

    MY BAD... It is Kentucky with teacher/pension problems. I stand corrected, as the Tennessee fund is very secure.

    Anyway, that’s the problem here in Connecticut, too much debt load with declining revenues.

    No worries!!

    My first thought was "Why does Connecticut know about this and we don't?"

    Tennessee has plenty of problems although at the state level finances are sound. Our problems are more social in nature - opioid addiction, low high school graduation rate, rural poverty, homelessness and hunger to name a few.

    Oh, and one other - the lack of high speed internet in lower population regions.
