Contractors lawn rockpiles

    Mowed 2 new lawns today in new subdivision.About 150 homes,I bet there wasn't 5 decent lookin yards there.sub. built in cow pasture no trees,no grass,except johnson and crab.I always thought contractor was responsible for sowing yard.My dad sowed yard at every house he ever built (over 100).I mean these yards are awful.:confused:

    yep, that's your typical contractor. Either they lease the yard as is or seed with stright annual rye, that comes up fast but dies off quick with the "sand" they put it on.
  3. I make a pile of money if that subdivision was near me!
