Can somebody from Florida please tell me about the licensing procedures in that state. I have read some info about it on the net however I want somebody who has actually gone through it to give some input. From how much it costs to how difficult the test is. Not interested in pesticides, just a contractor's license.

I dont really know about florida, but in alabama I had to submit a request to change the zoning in my subdivision. I had to notify everyone who owned property within 300 feet of mine and make sure that there were no objections. That cost me $75.00. Then all I had to do was to buy my liscens for every city That I worked in, legally. But sometimes you can slide with not buying one for "every" city.
