Pretty cool video I just saw.
that was impressive.
Wow... really cool. Would have been interesting to see other manufacturers try the same...
I don't think any other manufacturer have the balls to try that!
And if you spend all day in that, and that deep, ASV/CAT's are the only one that will keep the drive motors high and dry.
Excellent weight distribution, 15" of ground clearance and 20" wide tracks definitely make a difference. I think any other manufacturer would suck tight to the belly pan, sink back to the rear and get stuck because of their weight distibutions .
There is another video of that same SR80 handling a pretty big pine with that grapple.
And the same owner of the vid pulling out a Bobcat T250:
And the wickedly cool suspension:
I guess it's impressive, but I just get off on those things !!
Don't want to be the odd ball but that's nothing that my tak 150 could not do with a bucket FULL of wet mud. I've had the mud just about pour into the cab door, That right into the bottom of the cab door.
Were working in some ponds next week , I'll be sure to post a video.
But they all can get stuck!
Ah. They tried with the Bobcat.
