What do you guys feel is the correct term for the kind of lighting we do?

I don't really like the term "Landscape Lighting" because we're lighting up more than just the landscape, right? We're lighting the house, pathways, decks, etc.

The term "Low Voltage Lighting" or "LV Lighting" is good for among contractors and suppliers. But it's not a good marketing term, I don't think.

So to me, that leaves two options; "Outdoor Lighting" and "Night Lighting".

Which do you prefer to use and why?

ditto what Joey said. You can even add some icing to that and pop in high performance or energy effeciant or custom designed

I'd use outdoor lighting if i was a contractor...you could easily get involved in HID lighting, restaurant lighting, site lighting, etc...stay away from energy efficient...low voltage doesnt mean it uses less energy...if you are truly concerned with energy efficiency use that phrase but not just because you are using low voltage...
