I helped to renovate my girlfriends lawn by spraying roundup on entire backyard killing old K31 that was growing as well as all other weeds. Harley rake was used, most dead plant material removed, and Princess 77 bermuda grass seed spread and lightly covered along with starter fertilizer. We have installed an irrigation system to make sure we are getting adequate water. After only 3 days, I am starting to see what I think is crabgrass popping up out of the ground everywhere. I have never seeded bermuda before. Should I worry? How well can newly seeded bermuda grass compete with crabgrass?
