I have a Craftsman weedeater that will start if I put it on full choke, but then it will barely run. When I kick it over to 1/2 choke it runs real good for about a second or two then shuts down. I changed the plug and it has a fresh tank of gas. Any suggestions where to start

Make sure the carburetor is tight. If it is you will have to adjust the carburetor. The directions for adjusting the carburetor can be found in the manual. You will probably have to richen the high speed jet a little.

    Good luck,

I'd rebuild the carb before adjusting stuff.
