    Hello all.

These are some recently designed postcards I made.

Please give me any and all thoughts/suggestions on them.

    Do they look professional?

    Too bold? Too wordy?

Will it persuade people to call?

    What does it need?

I plan on distributing these door- to door.

Sorry about the size... I couldn't get the damn things to resize right. They are a little distorted looking because they are too big.

    Hey Grandview,

    thanks I appreciate your help....

now if only the damn forum would let me edit my first post so I can put in the smaller versions... (Is there a maximum number of times you can edit a single post?)

Any criticism / advice / suggestions / comments? Thanks.

The following are just my opinions. Don't shoot!

Loose the "Professional...." under your company name replace with the "Friendly Reliable Service" line from the bottom

Too many pictures. Loose the mower one and the one that is just stripes. Pick the 2 (no more than 3) that look the best (hard to tell on my monitor) and make them larger.

Be consistent. Some pictures have borders, some not.

Your company title is in san serif font so the Times Roman on the body does not work. Change the font and adjust sizes on headers, subheaders and main copy, now everything is about the same size.

You don't have to have everything in caps. Save it for the headers and subs.

"Complete Landscape Maint. Packages Available" should be your first bullet. Without the word available.

Loose the "fair and affordable rates" What's fair? What's affordable?

Loose "Completely", Licensed & Insured is sufficient (no such thing as incompletely, or partially licensed and insured)

Loose the corner triangles. Too amateur and 1970's

I'll get back to you on the back, by now I forgot what it looks like.

    Again, loose the all caps.

Loose the "forget the rest..." It's been done a gazillion billion times

Consistency, your Co. name should be on top like front page.

Remove the question on top. Confrontational, no need to question someones pride.

The wordart on "Special Offer" does not work. Use a bold font like Impact.

Remove the exclamation after credit cards. Reads like you are celebrating.

Final advice. Go to Barnes & Nobles or other book store and read up on the basics of publishing and graphics design. Even a cheap book will show you some of the fundamentals.

A flyer may work but to me its just too much for a small post card. GreenT made many constructive and correct suggestions take them and do a TAKE2.......
