22HP B&S ZTR for $4000 at TSC and also a 44" 20HP B&S ZTR for $3600. I am looking into the 48". My grandfather use to own a Cub Cadet lawn tractor and never really had any problems with it. Anyone own a CC? I am also looking at a TORO 44" Timecutter Z.

Thanks for the help wriken. It has 6 months no payments or interest and I really liked them. I'm 95% sure I am going with the Cub.

I looked at both mowers, CC is not a bad mower but the timecutter Z was not recomended by anyone I talked to . I went with the Gravely ZT1640 w/16hp B&S. Believe this or not but when I told the toro dealer I was comparing Gravely & toro he said "go get Gravely". He said the Gravely was built better. Toro should not even be used by small LCs. I hope this helps. Bye the way I got my Gravely for only $2799.00, so far I love it!

Thanks guys. Actually, if you use the TSC credit card, if you purchase anything by Cub Cadet over $300, it is 12 months no Interest or Payments! I am looking into the fine print to make sure I can make principle payments on it to knock down the total price once March 2005 rolls around. I figured I can knock off about half the price at least this year and next year I can just take my Visa and pay off the rest at 5% interest instead of the ridiculous 22% TSC is charging. I will use it for residential only this year and next and then I am going to buy a 60" commercial mower next year for commercial and large residentail properties. I actually found 3 awesome 60" and 1 72" deals in my Wheeler Deeler this week. I should be able to find one next year no problem.

I am also looking into my truck. I am debating between a Dodge 1/2 Ton Ram, Chevy 1/2 Ton Silverado, or Ford F150. I am going used and no more than $10,000. Found a ton in each category on Most were in the 100,000 to 130,000 mile range and bitchin lookin rides. I really love the Dodge myself.

Hey i have a cub 44" z-force, i have a post here under commercial lawn care telling about it. just my luck with anything i buy though. But i did my homework for about 7 months with a 3 ring binder notebook and page sleeves in it with pictures of all the ztr's i wanted to buy with the who, whats, whens, and wheres, on them for each mower. all specs and everything and for the money brother, the cub z-force was the winner.

I got the Cub M54 Tank through GE for 36 months and no Finance Charge for the full term. A commercial promotion. Works good so far.
