Flat and i have alot of stuff to go around...I found the red hawk delivered for like $1800 for a 36" deck. Read mixed things though that they are made in china and stuff like that.Got ya, dont know the red hawks but do know cub cadet & JD residential mowers are made by MTD. If you are just using it for residential i think u would be fine. Most guys on here are pros and they will not recommend them. I agree with them that if you do go commercial it should last longer, but you will pay alot more up front. Its all personal preference in my opinion. Is your lot flat or hilly? That would make a difference between a walk behind or rider..
Actually , The L100 Series are made in a John Deere plant in Greeneville, TN on Hal Henard Rd. Not by MTD.Got ya, dont know the red hawks but do know cub cadet & JD residential mowers are made by MTD. .
The JD mowers are made by JD, plain and simple. Are the ones that are sold in Lowes and HD built with lessor/cheaper parts? Yes, but only to a certain degree...they're still reliable mowers. Cub Cadet on the other hand is owned by MTD, and you can see how that helps them out so much.Got ya, dont know the red hawks but do know cub cadet & JD residential mowers are made by MTD.
Well i never really said residential cub cadets are great anyways, this is why i have a commercial unit-The JD mowers are made by JD, plain and simple. Maybe it's luck of the draw.Hmm well i thought it was the L series that was mfg by MTD. Either way I have heard many bad things about this series (predominantly sold in big box stores) especially dealing with the pulleys on the decks/belt issues.
