I have been looking buy a ZTR mower. I mow about 15 acres 1-2 time a week. (Family farm) I have all mowing conitions, every thing from wide-open flat, to around trees and a pretty steep pond bank. Currently using a Steiner 230 72”
I have tried the 72” Scagg, and 72” Exmark… Really liked the Exmark.
I have not yet tried a Kubota ZD Pro, Hustler Super Z, or Cub Cadet Tank.
From what I have read here it sounds like the Exmark is going to be my best choice. Should I even spend time to demo any of these other three? I also want to keep my cost below $9800 if possible.

Thanks in advance for the input!

I think the 72" tank goes for 8900.00, got mine for 7000.00. I was going to get another 60", but at that price, could'nt resist very happy I bought it.

definitely try the kubota. from my experience it is far superior to the others. it is very stable on hills unlike exmarks, and the cut is very good. deisel motor, shaft drive and every componant is over sized.
    good luck
